Umpire Registraion

Want to be an umpire for Bremen Youth Baseball? We are always in need of umpires for each of our three leagues. All games are 6 innings or 1 hour and 45 minutes, whichever is shorter. Most of our games are played on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday evenings with a couple of weekends for tournament play

Our Rookie League consists of 6-8 year olds and is machine pitch. Baserunning rules are modified and the game is played at a pace that allows for teachable moments for the kids.

The Minor League is for our 9-10 year olds and the rules are more like normal baseball except after 4 balls the players hit from a tee and some baserunning rules are modified.

The 11-12 year olds play in the Major League where the game is almost the same as standard baseball.

Behind the plate umpires are paid $30 for each game and base umpires are paid $15. Experience and/or cerftifications are not required. The primary requirements are an understanding and love of the game
